How it works

1. Record the cheque: select Cheque as the payment method on a customer or vendor payment and enter the cheque details.
2. Track it: the cheque starts as New and appears in the Cheques menu, where you can filter by due date.
3. Deposit it: mark cheques as Deposited one at a time or in bulk.
4. Handle exceptions: mark a cheque as Returned if it bounces, or Cancelled if it is voided. The bounce counter keeps count for each cheque.

Yes. With the Logosnet Cheque Management module, you record postdated cheques in Odoo Accounting and track them until they are due to be deposited.

Which cheque statuses are available?

Each cheque can be New, Deposited, Returned or Cancelled. You can change the status of one cheque or many at once.

How do I track bounced cheques in Odoo?

Mark the cheque as Returned. The module keeps a bounce counter for each cheque, and you can filter and group cheques to see how often they have bounced.

Does Odoo warn about duplicate cheque numbers?

Yes. Duplicate cheque numbers are flagged automatically when you create a cheque.
